As one of those "21 year olds" Lucas mentioned who's still figuring things out in life, I found this video very impactful. Around 2019, I was a huge gamer and bought Modern Warfare (COD), partly because of TREX promoting it on their youtube and Twitch. I wasn't addicted to the game, but after a year of playing it I quit videogames temporarily. I plan on gaming again once I'm more "successful". I don't find games fun anymore actually, but the real reason I stay away from gaming now is because I know men my age need to invest in the future more than anything. The solution is to be disciplined, and to realize that progress takes sacrifice and faith in God.

To John and Lucas, Long comment concerning going to our brothers in Christ AND non-believers, so please bear with me. Jesus, when pressed about "the Law" stated the 2 commandments we should follow, which are ALL encompassing for us believers. 1) Love our God with all of our heart, soul, and mind and 2) Love our neighbors as we do ourselves. With that being said, I believe we as believers should not change our approach with how we confront fellow 2A'ers that step out of line or say something that will hurt our goals. In the end, our #1 goal is to build the church and that is done by uplifting our brothers AND treating unbelievers the same. There's no better way to bring a non-believer to Christ than showing him/her Christ' love through our actions and words. BTW, fantastic video and discussion!!!

Exactly. I have been advising against BJJ for this exact reason. Going to ground is the last thing you want to do against multiple folks. Its called "last man standing" for a reason. I wrestled as a kid, then got into Judo in college. Not bad, but I think a good standing art like Boxing or Muay Thai may be smarter. As a senior citizen now, I carry Pepper Spray, which I believe in. (spray not gel) I do NOT trust a taser as they are expensive and more of a crap shoot in effectivness. What scares me the most are people armed with a knife. Then its really "spray-and-pray".

All that I can say is that this is the problem with the people in power or who has more power than the people. America has always stood for "The power of the people". This country has changed so much since I was young and not for the better.. this whole situation saddens me but at the same time steels my resolve in the hopes that us as citizens can change things for the better.

John Lovell is great. Love watching his videos. The company sucks. They lack customer service and will not resolve any issues on brand-new unopened products. I ordered a sling at 1am, saw a different sling at 1:10am, and sent and email requesting a switch. I received an email at 9 am saying they can't switch as they created a label. I needed to pay to ship it back. Horrible customer service. Read the reviews on the company. You will find similar stories. Again, John is great; the company is horrible.

Sneering at bargin rifles? PSA and BMC are more than acceptable, can have a few parts upgraded, and be as good as DD. As much as DD wants, you'd think they'd put in a better trigger. At least bargain companies help the little guy stay in the fight with affordable prices instead of putting down two thirds of the buying market. Hey maybe the shared attitudes are what you really have in common. We'll see.

These multiple attackers scenarios are both entertaining and fun. I have over thirty years in combat sports pro MMA fighter, and coach to UFC and tuf fighters. A black belt Ed Parker Kenpo, Tang Soo Do and BJJ. One day a student of mine about 5'6" and 150lbs. Good surfer and shaper was with his girlfriend and out of nowhere a group of four wanna be bikers..thugs..started talking shit to his girlfriend you know... I asked them to stop. I guess one of them grabbed her like grabbed her ass.. that guy got laid out one punch ..three others .. same one punch lights out..except for one the biggest one out weighed my student by about. 80 lbs. Didn't matter ..my student a Kenpo purple belt was looking like Jeff Speakman a Kenpo black belt and star of movie Perfect weapon.. lol was like a video game . Ah yes a stroll down memory lane this was like 2001.. I guess this guy in video reminded me of the old Ed Parker Kenpo days.. both the energy and sounds and the what ifs... 😂🎉
